ABSOLUT RUMOUR asks the question which is answered in Absolut Truth. This 2003 ad shows a bunch of vanilla beans tied together with a white string, standing upright and surrounded at the base with white tissue paper, as if it was a recently unwrapped package. Some of the center beans are longer than the rest and give the very rough impression of an Absolut shape. It's all presented in the traditional Vanilia pose: light gray background and table, slight white spotlight. (Rumour is the British variant of the American word Rumor.) It was the buzz on the street --- the gossip (rumor) was that Absolut was going to introduce a new vanilla-flavored vodka. |
